Mobs: Nether
This page is about the mobs in the Neather. the most famous mobs are zombie pigman, blazes,and ghasts.
BlazeBlazes are a flying mob that spawn in The Nether and shoot fireballs. When attacking, blazes shoot out three fireballs per volley. They can spawn in high amounts of light, making it hard to prevent them from spawning.

GhastGhast are large mobs that float in the air and shoot fireballs out of their mouths. They normally spawn inThe Nether, under any light level. There is a small chance they will spawn near portals outside the Nether. The fireballs shot by a Ghast can be reflected back if they are struck with bare hands or tools before impact. A Ghast can be killed entirely by reflecting their attacks back at them.

Zombie PigmanZombie Pigmen are neutral mobs that spawn in dimly lit areas in The Nether, or when a pig is struck by lightning on the surface. Attacking one Zombie Pigman will cause the surrounding group to become hostile. In addition to their normal drop, Zombie Pigman have a small chance to drop gold helmets, gold ingots, gold shovels, or gold swords.

Magma CubeMagma cubes are a mob only found in the Nether. Magma cubes are a typical of other mobs in that they don't damage the player when in contact. They will only damage the player if they manage to jump on top of him/her.Their hopping movement can be best described as spring-like. Larger varieties have more health and do more damage while the inverse is true for smaller ones.

Wither SkeletonWither skeletons are mobs that spawn in Nether fortresses. When wither skeletons hit a player, they inflict a poison-like effect. Unlike regular skeletons, they are not damaged by daylight, fire, or lava. In addition to their normal drops, they rarely drop stone swords and wither skeleton skulls.

These aren't really mobs but instead are materials that wither skeletons drop. they are used in creating the Wither.
